Col. Sein Mya visited Manerplaw and stayed at the DPNS headquarters in September 1992. During his visit, party leaders discussed on political development and situation of the military regime’s military offensive to the liberated areas particularly Manerplaw.

Late party chair Myint Zaw was together with Moe Thee Zun, prominent writer Naing Win Swe (in Buddhist monkhood) and Nai Pe Thein Zar of NMSP in Manerplaw on 18th July 1992.

Aung Moe Zaw discussed at the conference of Democratic Alliance of Burma (DAB) in 1992 in Manerplaw. The party became a member of DAB after it moved its headquarters to the liberated area in November 1991.

Party leaders led by Chairperson Myint Zaw and General Secretary Aung Moe Zaw discussed with a visiting official from the Washington-based International Republican Institute (IRI) at the party headquarters in Manerplaw in 1992.
Party leaders received a visit of SNPLO leaders led by Chairman U Takalel at the DPNS’s headquarters in Manerplaw in 1992.
Party leaders received a visit of leaders of New Mon State Party (NMSP) led by Chair Nai Shwe Kyin at the party headquarters in Manerplaw in 1992. At the meeting both parties exchanged views on various issues and discussed on cooperation between the DPNS and NMSP.
The party held a launch of party headquarters in Manerplaw on 7th November 1991. At the event, the late KNU President General Saw Bo Mya, U Win Khet (NLD) and U Thein Oo (NCGUB) were presiding together with DPNS Chairperson Myint Zaw. |
